Nutritional Information

Avocado Though they are high in fat,  it is the type of fat found in avocado, monounsaturated fat that lessens your LDL cholesterol which is harmful to our bodies. Also very high in both insoluble and soluble fiber, this fruit is ideal to gently cleanse the colon and carry toxins out of the body. Not to mention its ability to restore liver cells, which makes it an ideal detox food to include in a liver cleansing diet.

Spinach
Rich in vitamins C, K and A, spinach protects the heart and supports the immune system. Spinach is also full of calcium, magnesium and high in vitamin E which is great for improving brain function, lutein for healthy eyes, and iron for superior energy and strength.

Cucumber
Highly alkaline and a potent rehydrator.  Rich in ascorbic acid and caffeic acid, two compounds that prevent water retention. High in fiber, magnesium and potassium which help to repair connective tissues, muscles, cartilage and bones.

Lemon
Packed with vitamin C and has an alkalizing effect which heals cells and prevents disease. They are a powerful antimicrobial and will destroy putrefactive bacteria in your mouth and intestines while clearing mucus build up. Not to mention they support your liver, improve your absorption of minerals, promote weight loss, cleanse your blood and alleviate indigestion.

Pineapple
Contains almost all the vitamins and minerals essential for the digestive system, specifically bromelain, which assists the digestive enzymes in breaking down proteins and cleanses the blood by removing debris from the body. Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory that also assists in alleviating joint pain and encourages healing of bruises and swelling in the body.

Spirulina
A Superfood algae full of iron, chlorophyll, amino acids and calcium. Not only does it provide energy and vitality, it  is effective for heavy metal detoxification.

Banana
Bananas are high in fiber and pectin and both these nutrients help in healthy bowel movement. The pectin content of banana helps to absorb the water in the digested food and thereby eases constipation. Bananas are also helpful for patients suffering from diarrhea, since they help to restore the lost electrolytes.
Most importantly, it can absorb the fungus and germs attached to the inner wall of colons and also suppress fungus and germs growth to heal colon inflammation.

Almond
Another high fiber, alkalizing food. It is full of vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. Including this nut milk in a cleanse helps to incorporate additional protein and healthy fats.

Romaine
A high water content green, full of vitamins A, K, C, folate, manganese and chromium. The fiber in romaine is cleansing and good for the heart, it also combats cholesterol by preventing it from oxidizing and sticking into the inside of arteries.

Parsley
Such a common herb but how many of us actually know its benefits? It contains high levels of vitamin C and A, chlorophyll, calcium, sodium, magnesium and iron. It neutralizes toxins in your liver, inhibits abnormal cell growth (preventing tumors and cancers), boosts the immune system, and improves digestion and promotes urination.

Celery
A potent cleanser, great source of vitamin C, high in electrolyte minerals, potassium, sodium calcium and magnesium.
It acts as a diuretic, stimulating urine production and ridding the body of excess fluids. Fluid balance is extremely important during a detox.

Carrot
One of the highest Beta carotene rich foods, a substance which is converted into vitamin A in the liver. Regulates blood sugar and protects the lungs and eyes from toxins.

Ginger
Has been used for many years to aid gastrointestinal distress by alleviating symptoms of bloating, gas, nausea and dizziness. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory properties and can help boost the immune system.

Orange
Contain high levels of vitamin C and flavonoids, which are powerful antioxidants that fight aging and prevent disease. Oranges also are a good source of vitamin A, B, amino acids, beta-carotene and minerals, making them one of the best fruits to promote overall health.

Turmeric
This powerful spice is often referred to as the “Queen of all Herbs”. It is a excellent anti-inflammatory, blood purifier and also improves liver function.

Cinnamon
Is a staple in most homes but many don’t know its powerful healing and detoxifying properties. It has a natural cleansing action that stops the growth of microbes and kills bacteria and fungi. It also acts a pain reliever as well as strengths and energizes tissue.

Kale
A true super food packed with chlorophyll which increases oxygen circulation throughout the bloodstream. Not only does it have deeply detoxifying properties, it is high in calcium vitamins C, A, E, folate B6 and zinc.
